Filtek is offering a Bilge Water Treatment system for use on ships, boats and marinas to remove and clean oil and fuel polluted bilge water down to 5 ppm. It’s consists of a compact Coalescer unit and a filter cartridge. While the Coalescer will remove majority of oil from water, the filter cartridge which is coated with a patented non toxic solution has the ability to bind together and coagulate hydrocarbons, specifically altering oils and semi volatile organics into a cohesive viscoelastic mass that repels water. When the molecule is integrated into a filter, the viscoelasticity of the coagulated mass allows for extremely efficient capture without developing differential pressure across the filter. "The most remarkable characteristic is that it allows water to flow through the filtration process with virtually no restrictions. We offer 3 types of models namely FBK-1, FBK-2 and FBK-3 with capacity to handle flow rates 1 m3/hr LPH, 2.5m3/hr and 5.5m3/hr respectively.

No class certification is required as it is installed before your existing OWS. Filtek Bilgekleen units will ensure 15ppm water inlet to OWS and save hundreds of $$$ in replaceable elements.
